Dillon and Tyler – A June Wedding in Tuscany at Borgo di Pietrafitta

A June Wedding in Tuscany at Borgo di Pietrafitta

Not every wedding is about how it looks. Some stay with you because of how it is lived, moment by moment.
Dillon and Tyler’s destination wedding in Tuscany belongs to the latter: a celebration built on presence, gentleness and a rare kind of attentiveness that could be felt in every moment.

From the very beginning, they approached this journey with care: always present, always kind, deeply respectful of each other and of the process itself. They listened — to their own needs, to one another and to my guidance as their wedding planner in Italy — with a clarity that made everything flow naturally.
Working with them never felt like managing an event, but like accompanying two people who already knew, in their own quiet way, where they were going. The same warmth extended to their families and friends, bit more than hundred guests who brought with them an energy that was joyful, elegant, and genuinely connected.

The celebration unfolded at the beautiful Borgo di Pietrafitta, a place that holds the essence of a wedding in Tuscany — open views, timeless architecture and a sense of calm that allows everything to breathe.

The welcome evening set the tone with an Italian-themed gathering that felt vibrant yet relaxed, never staged. Guests were welcomed with the unmistakable charm of Ape Pizza by Giotto on the Road and Ape Drinks by Brindapino, creating an atmosphere that was both playful and deeply rooted in Italian culture. Tables were adorned with flowers, fruits, and vegetables — a simple, abundant aesthetic that speaks of Italy without effort.
As the evening unfolded, welcome bags with a warm “Ciao” were shared and heartfelt speeches filled the air.

The wedding day arrived under a kind of light that felt almost intentional. June had been unpredictable, yet their days were blessed with sunshine and perfect temperatures, as if nature itself had chosen to align. The symbolic ceremony took place by the pool, overlooking the Chianti valley — a view that leaves little room for anything but presence.
Soft pastel florals framed the space with elegance, enhancing rather than overpowering the setting. The ceremony itself was deeply felt, intimate, and sincere.
Dillon and Tyler stood there, radiant, fully themselves, surrounded by the people who matter most.

From there, the celebration opened into a beautifully flowing aperitivo curated by Class Ricevimenti, where food and drinks became part of the rhythm of the day. This is where a destination wedding in Italy reveals one of its most important layers: the ability to merge hospitality with emotion, creating moments that feel effortless yet deeply considered.

Dinner followed with the same sense of abundance and care — excellent food, flowing wine and a series of speeches that carried both emotion and lightness.
Laughter and tears found their place naturally at the table, as they should.
As the evening deepened, music took over with the refined energy of DJ and sax by Fix The Music, creating a vibrant yet elegant atmosphere that invited everyone to celebrate fully. The cake cutting marked a gentle transition into the party, first outdoors on the dancefloor under the Tuscan sky, then moving into the intimate atmosphere of the cellar, where the night continued with a different kind of energy, warmer yet still vibrant.

The following day unfolded with a slower rhythm, yet without losing its sense of care. A relaxed pool party brought everyone together once more, this time in a softer, more informal way. Guests enjoyed artisanal gelato by CalaGogò, the unmistakable flavors of Tuscan cuisine from Dario Cecchini’s food truck, and beautifully crafted drinks by Dip Cocktail, which carried the day from late morning into the golden hours of the afternoon.
Nothing felt rushed, nothing forced. Just the pleasure of being there, together, before returning to their own lives.

This is what a destination wedding in Tuscany can truly become. Not a sequence of perfectly timed events, but a layered experience where each moment supports the next, where beauty is not imposed but revealed. As a wedding planner in Tuscany, this is always the intention to create space for something real to emerge.

Dillon and Tyler’s wedding was exactly that.
Gentle, intentional, deeply human.
