This was one of them.
Gloria and Anthony are two people incredibly close to my heart. Our story began many years ago, when Gloria first reached out to learn the art of wedding planning. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of watching her blossom into a gifted professional photographer, building a beautiful life alongside her now-husband Anthony — a kind, generous soul I’ve also known since those early days.
Over the years, we’ve shared so much — projects, conversations, travels, laughter — and to be asked not only to help plan their wedding but also to officiate their symbolic ceremony was an honor I will hold forever. A moment of grace, friendship and truth that still resonates deeply.
Their wedding was a true expression of who they are: warm, creative, free-spirited and deeply rooted in love. The theme was boho-gypsy, and they infused it with such beauty and detail that it took our breath away. Not as a trend, but as a reflection of their essence: colorful, soulful and beautifully unconventional.
The celebration took place at Locanda in Tuscany, a beloved place for the couple and a hidden gem in the heart of the Val d’Orcia. Golden fields, round hay bales, sunburnt earth stretching toward the horizon — this landscape is more than scenery. It is a part of their story, a place they have always carried in their hearts. That day, it welcomed us with light, warmth and an unforgettable embrace.
The reception, prepared by the extraordinary Apollinare Catering team who came all the way from Umbria, was a feast of flavor and finesse. Every dish was an ode to tradition, elevated with creativity and served with care. A dinner full of laughter, good wine and joyful tears — exactly what Gloria and Anthony had wished for.
Florals, curated by the talented team at Stiatti Fiori, were nothing short of magical. Every petal, every arrangement was chosen with purpose, striking the perfect balance between boho wildness and refined elegance : a mirror of Gloria herself.
Music flowed like poetry. The ceremony and aperitivo were brought to life by the ethereal sounds of Tobi Tobi, an Australian duo whose voices seemed to dance with the wind. As a surprise guest, the presence of Brindapino added a touch of sparkle, creating a feeling that was both grounded and otherworldly during the cocktail.
The visual memories of this day were captured with heart and brilliance by Roberto Panciatici PH, a true artist and storyteller whose lens transforms emotion into legacy. His photographs didn’t just record the day, they wrote a love poem in a thousand frames. The video, created by the amazing team at Evergreen Films, brought movement and magic to each chapter of this soulful journey.
After a long, emotion-filled dinner under the Tuscan stars, the evening closed with the sweet perfection of a cake by Sugarcups Cakes and a vibrant, beautifully styled bar led by Riccardo from Barman House and the vibrant dance floor conducted by DJ Lorenzo Zanobetti. It was the kind of ending that doesn’t feel like an ending at all — just the beginning of a new, joyful chapter.
This wedding was more than a celebration. It was a reunion of souls, a tapestry of history and future, woven together by friendship, beauty and truth.
And for me : it was a day I’ll never forget.
