Originally planned before the world paused, this celebration took place in the golden light of late September 2021, after a journey of patience, resilience and renewed meaning.
Hosted at the stunning Villa Pazzi al Parugiano, an elegant and refined gem nestled in the Tuscan countryside, this wedding was a true reflection of Kelsey and Alex themselves: international, sophisticated and filled with beauty inside and out.
With guests arriving from across the globe — from the US to Africa and beyond — the atmosphere was one of intimate grandeur. The ceremony was held in the villa’s unique altana, a romantic loggia overlooking the estate gardens. Although the weather forecast had hinted at uncertainty, the couple chose to embrace the moment and it rewarded them with an airy, symbolic religious ceremony full of emotion and poetry.
Every detail of this wedding was curated with intention. From the personalized rentals and bespoke tableware to the careful selection of tones and textures, the aesthetic journey told a story of refined taste and heartfelt celebration. The floral design by Marisa from Le Petit Jardin brought softness and structure in perfect harmony, while the ceremony and cocktail hour were accompanied by the soulful notes of Musical Violino Wedding Tuscany’s string quartet.
After the ceremony, guests were invited to enjoy a timeless aperitivo in the villa’s elegant salons, with culinary delights and refined wines curated by Martina Catering, whose service elevated the experience to perfection. The dinner, hosted in the villa’s beautiful first-floor salon, was a candlelit ode to togetherness and elegance.
And then — as every great story deserves — came the joy.
An epic party unfolded in the ancient cantina below, where Tea Time Cocktail’s mixologists Gianmarco and Martina, with their brilliant team, served royal-level drinks in a vibrant bar setting. The atmosphere came alive thanks to DJ Betto’s curated setlist, perfectly complemented by Central House’s lighting and sound design, masterfully led by Maurizio — a true maestro of ambiance.
Every moment was captured with intimacy and artistry by Andreas K. Georgiou, whose lens traveled all the way from beautiful Cyprus to frame this day with timeless elegance and emotion. His presence added a gentle presence to the flow of the day, never intrusive, always attuned.
Kelsey’s bridal look was brought to life by the incomparable Alexandra from LBW Agency, who also took care of the entire bridal party with professionalism, calm and grace. The furnishings and decor by JD Events added the final layer of distinction to a wedding that was both regal and warmly human.
A sweet surprise delighted everyone before the dancing began — not one, but two cakes. A gorgeous banana layer cake with American flair, and a magnificent pavlova crowned with cream and fresh fruit. A delicious metaphor for Kelsey and Alex’s union: rich in flavor, culture and harmony.
